What is educational attainment?

Educational attainment is the highest level of education that someone has achieved. This includes a high school diploma, a high-quality certification or a bachelor’s degree.

Why does it matter?

Educational attainment matters because more education strengthens the economy, leads to economic mobility, benefits future generations and so much more. The Utah Educational Attainment Series seeks to help student beat the odds toward higher educational attainment and broaden Utahn’s educational horizons.
